This past weekend, I started to sell off a bunch of my crypto that I’ve been trading on the exchange and moving the rest that I have been storing onto the exchange and selling all of that off for Hive. It’s a painstakingly slow process. I’m sure you know that if you have ever tried to do it.
I’m not in a particularly patient mood right now, but that isn’t going to change a thing, other than maybe causing me to loose some crypto out of stupidity.
Why does it seem that the wallets for the cryptos I want to withdraw from are always down when I want them?
The markets aren’t really in my favor at the moment – at all- but the first little bit has finally sold and I managed to buy a bit of Hive with it yesterday.
Of course, now I can’t withdraw it. The wallet is down for maintenance. Maybe its the HF coming up, I don’t know, but it seems to be often down.
Am I wrong about Hive being so often down for maintenance? I’m using Bittrex at the moment, but Poloniex seems the same.
Anyway, it is what it is, and I’ll just have to be patient. I may have to swap some to get some liquidity in order to continue with #MemeWarMonday and whatever other activities I can get into. Hell, its already heading towards Thursday, I better get out there and market this thing and see what else I can get into.
I’m thankful I got spurred into action.
As I was starting to test the waters and think about firing the account back up, the block cops came around trying to tell me what to do with my account. That’s a hill I’m willing to die on.
This is not a fucking “spam account” as they tried to say it was.
I absolutely get that we need some spam and abuse fighters out there, but my initial investigations indicate this very much needs to be looked into a lot further. On the surface at least, it appears that a good number of people are feeling bullied. One fellow is just trying to literally survive in “Thunderdome conditions” where Hive is the thing that keeps him somewhat fed.
I will admit that I need a lot more time and information, but that has started.
The timing is perfect, really.
Last year I had a decent run. It was around the holidays, when my shoeing business tanks that I was able to make some ground and keep the content strong and consistent. I was very fortunate to do several podcasts and work with some super cool people on various projects.
Well, its that time of year again, and I’m ready to quit some of my shoeing accounts, so I should have plenty of time and now I am fully riled up.
It’s not just the case of spite and concern I have for the block cops. That really was helpful, but its a lot more that I am ready and excited to to what I have always wanted to.
I have absolutely everything I need to get the project going.
Tools are ready.
First, I have a full media setup, from top shelf video cameras of all sorts and applications, to audio tools like mics and recorders, and this wonderful editing machine I’m using today. I have a full stack of open source software that is completely capable of producing any media.
The other big thing I’m super proud of is the network of websites I have to explore, collaborate and present with. Each main topic has a subdomain with a WordPress install and a MediaWiki install. Then there is also a Nextcloud install and even a SuiteCRM install to help with leads and opportunities.
Of course, there is also the Discord server, https://discord.gg/5fPatJx, which you are invited to join.
There is even more buried within those tools.
Here’s to another new beginning, lol. Lets start DiggnDeeper together.
